Thai Cooking Class Thai loves the good things in life, a
fact that is clear from their enjoyment of their food, Thai Cuisine,
which is one of the world-famous cuisines. Thai cuisine is known for its
harmony of five fundamental flavors; hot (spicy), sour, sweet, salty and
bitter. All flavors play a balancing act together where one flavor never
replaces the other. However you do not like chilies but do not give up
on Thai food. Thai word ?Mai phet? (not spicy) stressed at the time you
order can bring a delicious selection of cooler, more subtle flavors
that may include tastes ranging from the sweetness of coconut milk to
the pungency of fresh herbs, lemon grass, garlic or nutmeg and the
saltiness of fermented fish. Added to that are tropical fruits such as
fresh pineapple, a little sugar, a pinch of coriander and certainly a
lashing of culinary inspiration. Every region boasts its own specialties. Up in the north, local
sausages known as 'naem' are popular, while the northeast is famed for
its sticky rice or glutinous rice (Kao niaw) normally served with
barbecued meat as well as 'Som Tam', a famous papaya salad. In the
southern part of Thailand, there are numerous dishes that have been
influenced by the Muslim style of cooking. Moreover, there are various
types of seafood dishes; crab, squid, shrimp, lobsters and mussels. Do
not miss Thai desserts that have found place at most dining tables and
festivities of the present day. Thai desserts are based on wheat flour,
coconut milk, palm sugar and sticky rice and we guarantee that all of
them are delicious! We have selected many popular Thai dishes which

We, Club Andaman, are very proud of our Thai Cooking class where you can
experience and learn more about the taste of Thailand. Enjoy learning
how to prepare popular Thai desserts or snacks which you can then make
back home. The classes are organized on Tuesday and Thursdays. Please
kindly reserve the class in advance. Batik Painting Enjoy

Thai Traditional Wedding Ceremony
Groom, leading the way by Long Drum Parade and Buddhist praying ceremony
starts solemnly to pray for the marriage and to give some offering to
the monks. Holy Water Pouring & Bonding Ceremony will follow and our
Management teams wish your happiness and put the holy-strings on your
head, offer the garlands, and put powder marks on your forehead. Then
your hand will be poured by holy water to cerebrate your wedding.
